Ferrari's Holy Grail
“Carlo was a great public relations guy, the friendliest Ferrari PR guy I’ve ever encountered.” Retired Car And Driver editor Csaba Csere recounts his experience with Carlo Fiorani, Ferrari North America’s PR chief in the late 1990s.
“Car companies hand out test cars to different magazines at the same time. Car And Driver, of course, did road tests on all the new cars, all the new Ferraris, but we were always looking for doing something a little different, something a little more interesting. We never wanted our feature stories to be synchronized with everyone else’s, so if we were going to do something, we wanted to do something unique to Car And Driver.”
